Comparing peptide research products in the UK starts with reading the complete product information. A familiar compound name, polished photograph or pen format does not tell you whether a product is a research material, a licensed medicine or suitable for a particular purpose.

Check the compound before the category

Begin with the exact name and any listed ingredients. A category such as recovery or wellbeing describes how a shop organises its listings; it is not evidence of a treatment benefit. Similarly, a commercial nickname cannot replace a formulation list. NAD+, which sometimes appears alongside peptide products, is a coenzyme rather than a peptide.

Read specifications without filling in the gaps

Look for the stated amount, concentration where provided, storage instructions and supporting documentation. Amount and concentration are different measurements. If a page does not provide a specification, do not infer it from another supplier's similarly named product.

  • Does the documentation identify the same compound and batch as the listing?
  • Are storage and expiry information specific to that formulation?
  • Does a research claim cite a study, and was it conducted in cells, animals or people?
  • Is current availability clear before you continue?
